"The Second International Violin Competition in Buenos-Aires was very difficult but, at the same time very interesting. I have so many good memories and impressions. I had a pleasure and honor to meet and play with Maestro Shlomo Mintz in the final stage of competition. Maestro Mintz is a very good conductor; it was so easy to play Tchaikovsky violin concerto with him! Thanks to Maestro's initiative to include a special contest "Premio Tango" to the program of the competition, I had an opportunity to discover for myself a new world of argentine tango music. I'm looking forward to play together again. With kind regards,”
"I really would like to show my gratitude to you and the whole Crans Montana Classics Team because the masterclass last summer was probably one of the most memorable experiences I've ever had in my life. I thank you so much for your wonderful teaching during the summer, I really learned so many precious new things from you, Mr. Mintz.
Thank you very much!
"It was a great pleasure for me to meet such a personality as Maestro Mintz. He is a true musician, devoted to not merely one instrument, but to Art in whole - in its exalted sense. Worldwide known artist, who deserves deep respect apart from his fame, Maestro Mintz is open towards the world, constantly improving himself, he brings inspiration to the people who have been so lucky to communicate with him."
"I just wanted to share the fantastic news: I just won 1st prize in Long Thibaud Competition in Paris, as well as the public prize and the orchestra prize! Thank you Maestro Mintz for all your wonderful teaching this summer. I hope you are doing well and enjoying the holiday season coming soon.
Yours, Solenne "
"I was so fortunate to have the great honor and privilege to work with Maestro Shlomo Mintz for the first time during the 2009 Sion-Valais International Violin Competition. Maestro Mintz is a musician I admired highly, and it was like a dream come true for me to be able to make music with him. I enjoyed it immensely. His musicianship is beyond words. He is truly an inspiration for me both musically and as a human being. Whenever I am on stage with the Maestro, I feel so comfortable, because I know that he will support me and be with me all the way through. Maestro's discipline and generosity are something I will always look up to. I am very grateful for what Maestro Mintz’s help and support over the past years. Thank you Maestro"
