Violin Horizon is a foundation with a human, social and cultural mission. Its aim is to make high quality music lessons accessible to all society groups for a low price. The construction of the 1st Online Music Academy, part of Shlomo Mintz’s website, is consequently a result of that desire.
In order to emphasize this humanity, Violin Horizon supports the project ‘Violins of Hope’ in helping to spread the message of hope and peace to a worldwide audience.
Violin Horizon highlights the power of music and its function in society and this is where there is a direct link to the artist Shlomo Mintz. To him, music is the ultimate communication tool to connect people and communities. As he says :
"My challenge? To connect the ear and the mind and to teach people to consciously search for beauty."
